If you can't trust the food you buy, they have failed you. From low quality, bugs, mold, shortages, Shrinkflation, chaos in the stores, and lack of workers, to not understanding their customers' basic needs. We are not one size fits all. Or all healthy, or young. No one asked if it's good for us! Or if we wanted the changes. We are not stupid, or ignorant, as a Senior shopper my needs are different, than a 25-year-old who can't cook. As are my views on needs vs. wants. And my purchasing power is less. Many are finding out that letting the Super-Rich get richer is nothing but highway robbery.
Rocks too? Many are in-store prepared products. I expect a few in dried beans, but not in supposedly canned, cleaned foods. Since I have food allergies those are things I don't buy, along with Seafood. Nor do I expect Toxic level heavy metals. And if you change providers of a necessary Script I should be told. I get 1.37 mcg of Synthroid every 6 months, the first batch was fine, 2nd I broke out with 3 skin diseases in 3 days. These are Military base supplied. Never had issues in the 50 years I've been on Synthroid. Just the generic. Base only uses name brand. Unless China is now counterfeiting them. They are stamped Synthroid.
based on the redefinition of the word by the Brandon regime, I'm guessing? because by the older definition we've been in a recession for quite a while already.
MONOPOLIES, THE SHERMAN ANT-TRUST ACT, WAS SUPPOSED TO PREVENT THEM. BUT IT FAILED FROM LACK OF USE.
It means a few own and control your buying power. And they get richer, the middle class poorer, the poor even worse.

you mention mold and bugs in food... that's just part of the accepted system of production anymore.
it's been a long time since one could trust industrial foods.
in no small part thanks to the FDA's "GRAS" (Generally Recognized As Safe) bs claims.
