Our economic woes continue to advance and compound upon themselves. Such is the nature of the beast when we have evil forces trying to take down western capitalistic society.
How does home price appreciation look against inflation if inflation is calculated using pre-1980 methodology? (as what may be similar to1970's median home price appreciation versus 1970's inflation). How much (if any) of the median home price increase in the last 2 years can be attributed to the effects of inflation .....if inflation is calculated the way it was ... say in the 1970's. (simple basket of goods without adjustments such as substitutions, etc.) Shawdow Stats has inflation at approx. 17% presently calculated to pre-1980's methodology. If inflation continues to skyrocket at present rates, do you see housing prices moving counter to inflation?
Glad ours is paid for, it's the 2 insurances that is a big ow. Earthquake is separate, and as much as the regular one. Bad thing about rural living is everything use full is 2 hrs round trip.
Today is hub's 82nd BD, we are not eating out as we normally do, got him a cake, and am making a Pot Roast for supper, I caught on sale, only using half, as mine is next month. Change from hamburger meat.
