Better learn to garden, harvest, can, and store. At this time of the year you may find very few supplies. Fruit Pectin, Clear Jel, White Vinegar, filtered water, your tap water has to many chemicals, and heavy metals. Use it for washing. Coffee, tea, Dry Milk, supplements. OTC Pain meds, I'd stick to Tylenol as it doesn't destroy your gut. Can't raise chickens, try quail or rabbits. You need some Veterinary knowledge to keep them healthy. Same for your pets. Save all bacon grease for seasoning, don't forget them or baking supplies, those go in glass jars, out of the light. Plastic shelves are for lightweight items, not the best for products you can, glass jars are heavy. TP galore. Learn about Ham Radio, and be sure to take the Extra Class. EMP attack books are similar to prolonged Blackouts, so read some of those books, learn what a Faraday Cage is. Your prescription meds are the hardest to get ahead of. Cook, Sew at least basic, Amish cook/canning book is helpful. Axe, saw, hammer, chisel, screwdriver set, wrenches., machete, camp bowie knife. A sharpener for knives, axes, chisels, alternative to matches, lighters. Learn about bow/arrows. There are even washing machines that use muscle to operate. Bar soap, toothpaste, shampoos. Alcohol, allergy meds, peroxide. Antibiotic cream, bandages. Vinegar in a pinch.
