This new Digital Money scares the Heck out of me. I'm nearly 75, so that means the last of the post-WW 2 Baby Boomer generation. Raised on my Grands HOOVER-FDR GREAT DEPRESSION STORIES. My mom wore a flower sack bloomers, along with her 5 sisters, and her 2 brothers' shirts. They had a truck patch garden and gathered fruits, nuts, chickens, and eggs. Traded for what was needed, grandma worked in the local Shirt Factory and brought home scrap material as many women did to make quilts. Heated the house with a Potbelly Stove, cooked on a wood-burning one, and well water pumped unto the house was a boon. They Canned food, worked the truck patch, and had 5-8th grade educations. Granddad had Black Lung or Minors Asthma as safety equipment was unheard of. The Appalachian Mountains never had a robust economy. Ever take a bath in the summer in a #10 Wash Tub? Use an Outhouse? I have.
